A Message from Lori Saunders:

"I receive about 50 e-mails a day requesting photos autographed...To handle this I had to create a service that handles it with me...I do sign the autographs personally.....The way it works is:

*Send $20 to:

Lori's Friends BJB

99 La Vuelta

Montecito, CA 93108

along with a self-addressed, $3.20 stamped large envelope for me to return the photo in...

[*You can also write to Lori at this address even if you are not requesting a photo]

I will send an autographed photo from Petticoat Junction and a current one along with a resume' of what I have been doing over the years...I make nothing on this but it allows me to do it...

Also, I am now including one that was shot right after PJ for a magazine...It was rather sexy, but not cheap...I have had many flattering comments on it....I hope you enjoy it."

Most Sincerely,

Lori Saunders aka Bobbie Jo Bradley

Lori loves meditation, a wonderful technique that brings her closer to God and her inner feelings of love for the world she shares with all living creatures.

Lori indulges herself in fruit and vegetable juice fasts several times a year to cleanse her body and soul. She has been a total vegetarian for the past 27 years..She eats nothing that has a face.

She loves to continue education on an ongoing schedule, taking classes in cooking, art (all forms) and general information.

She adores her pets, dog - Snickers a black and white half lab-half border collie, from the animal shelter, of course..two cats, Peepers a 13 lbs. black lover and a black and white OOps..named because she thought her mother was fixed and still she had a litter so the name OOOps..

She has made an art of married life with her husband of 38 years...It is a journey she says and still a work in progress..Always changing, moving in different directions but always growing towards a better and better life together..Lori and her husband, Bernard have had a wonderful trip together and they love to travel together all over the globe seeing how others live and live their lives.

Lori's favorite place so far is Italy..She loves the people and adores the food.

So far she and Bernie have been to Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Bali, China, Greece, Bahamas, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and most of the USA.

Currently she is very busy designing and decorating her new old house (built in 1927).

Lori encourages her fans and friends to engage in charity work saying that this is how God works through us to the world around...Most of us have been blessed with such good fortune that is would be a shame to keep it to ourselves...Good fortune is meant to be shared and given freely to those with less.

Soon Lori will be making signed lithos of her paintings available via the Internet..Keep an eye out for it.

Love,

Lori Saunders

Lori Saunders kindly sent me this information in 1996

I have many interests. I like to dance, snowski, horseback riding, bicycling, tennis, hiking, swimming and snorkeling. Much of this I do on vacations. I just got back from a trip in Italy and France [at the end of 1995]. I hiked twenty miles a day. I love nature and feel closer to God when I am out in it [whether] it is raining or sunshining. I have biked on some trips that got up to fifty miles a day. [On] my last bike trip, I biked the Ring of Kerry in Ireland. Half of the trip it rained and I loved it.

When I am home, I make Bronze sculptures and paint in oil. I have had showings that have gone very well. I also like to work in my garden. I have been a vegetarian for twenty-five years and find that not eating flesh makes me feel good. As I don't cook meat, I have learned and created some interesting dishes. I like to have small dinner parties and feed my friends.

I have a Foundation called "For The Love Of Life". This is where I volunteer my time to different things that need help, [such as] the homeless, Aids, Animal Shelters. I either help raise monies or locate things that are needed.

If I could do one thing to change the world, it would be to encourage everyone to try to not be judgmental and try to be more understanding. Sometimes it's hard to remember that we are all doing the best we can.

I have two children, a boy and girl that I am very proud of. My son lives up north [in California] where he owns an ambulance company. (It makes me feel good that he saves people's lives). My daughter lives in LA and produces Print work. They both are good people.

I still work in the industry. I am with the Gilla Roos Agency. You know what they say "Once an actor, always an actor".

I see the Petticoat girls often. We are very good friends. We all feel lucky to have worked together.

One of my favorite things to do is play the drums. I have friends over and we Jam for hours.

My next trip I hope to go to Peru. I have traveled a lot but still have a list of places to see. I hope the list will always be big.

I have two dogs and two cats. I always get my pets from the animal shelters. My dogs are mutts and they both took first place ribbons in obedience classes. I encourage everyone who would want a pet to get it from the pound. And, of course, to spay and neuter them. Some of my volunteer work is to encourage this.

My next volunteer project will be growing flowers and taking them to shut-ins on a weekly basis. To put a little cheer into their lives.
